A Wedding at Centennial Vineyard, Bowral: Kennedy & Ethan’s Music Story
Kennedy and Ethan’s wedding at Centennial Vineyard in Bowral put personal song choices at the centre of the day. Their ceremony plan included different music for the groom and groomsmen, the bridesmaids and the bride, giving each part of the procession its own moment.
The groom and groomsmen walked in to “Dancing in the Moonlight”, while the flower nanas and bridesmaids had “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Kennedy’s entrance was planned around “Grow Old with You” by Adam Sandler—a personal choice that brought a different feel to the traditional aisle moment.
The signing included two Taylor Swift songs, “Lover” and “Ophelia”. For the recessional, the couple requested the digital version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, cued from the upbeat section for their first kiss. Those details show how timing and song selection can make a ceremony feel tailored to the couple.
The reception entrance had its own series of cues: “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” for the bridesmaids, “Don’t Stop the Party” for the groomsmen and “Where Is My Husband!” by RAYE for the couple. Later, the first dance was “I Love You More” by Ryan Mack, with “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore planned to open the dance floor.
When you’re planning wedding music, it’s worth thinking about transitions as much as the songs themselves. If you’re getting married in Bowral or the Southern Highlands, I can help plan live music and key playback cues around your run sheet.
